And David said to him, “Can you take me down to this troop?” So he said, “Swear to me by God that you will neither kill me ...and I will take you down to this troop.” INSPIRATION: Yesterday, we established that God plants people in our lives for strategic interventions, and that we must discern these people to appreciate their worth. In the light of that, may I suggest that some persons come into our lives as brigdes or access to connect us to what we need for our next big move. These people know someone who is critical to our next move, and putting a good word on your behalf as reommendation can unlock great doors. We need these recommendations every once in a while, and the bridge between where you are and where you're going is locked up in men. God plants certain people in your life to act as Compass, to guide you aright in making favourable choices. They're custodians of secrets and vital information that would determine your trajectory. The wounded Egyptian gave David the most important piece of information which helped him to discover the enemy and recover all they plundered. We suffer the most and delay our victory when we're ignorant or bereft of the right information. Despising the direction the people divinely positioned in our lives give can birth grave outcomes. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Between where you are now and where you're going to, is a separating valley that can only be bridged by people, with their networks of connections and information. Learn the habit of strategic synergy, be nice and welcoming to people sent by God into your space. PRAYER: O Lord, please fill my life with people with the right information and connections I need to advance in the direction of my destiny, and help me to be receptive to such vital information, in Jesus name.
