According to today's (March 31) released numbers by USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), growers across the U.S. intend to plant 91.1 million acres of corn, up less than 1% from last year, and soybean producers intend to plant 87.6 million acres in 2021, up 5% from last year.  Purdue ag economists James Mintert, Nathanael Thompson, and Michael Langemeier focus on the corn and soybean outlook in light of USDA's March Prospective Plantings and Grain Stocks reports.
