Plastic Smile - NON73

Plastic Smile is my very first track where I’ve done everything myself – from the idea, lyrics, music, to vocals. The lyrics are heavily inspired by George Orwell’s novel 1984 and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, as well as how society is evolving today. I could have stayed in my usual groove, just composing an instrumental track with samples, or using AI vocalists. But why should I choose something digitally pre-made when I want to create and explore myself? I used AI (ChatGPT) for the cover art. It’s originally a photo of me, which I instructed the AI to distort into an image of a person who’s been extremely altered by cosmetic surgery. Strangely enough, it ended up looking a bit like Angelina Jolie :D
