It’s so easy to see what we have yet to accomplish and forget to celebrate how far we have come. Our culture has ingrained so many toxic ways of thinking into our minds that most of the time, we don’t even realize that we are in autopilot mode and buying into these lies. Instead of being aware of our journey, we rush around living in constant stress with an unending To-Do List. Maybe this isn’t your experience. But for those of us who have spent most of our lives believing we needed to prove our value, life can feel like trying to catch a train that refuses to slow down.
