Pleading Ignorance

from Spiritual Medicine · host Jackie Gutknecht

Send us Fan MailPleading ignorance is a victim mentality that casts us as perhaps not smart enough, when we are really quite smart.  Maybe we are outsmarting ourselves because we are afraid to do the right thing, to know the right thing, to be the right way.  It is fearful a way of not taking responsibility for our actions and our behaviours.Trauma can leave us telling ourselves things that aren't true, they can be in our systems until we look at them and unravel the lies behind what we tell ourselves.  Don't let the constant "I don't know's" to keep you from knowing the truth, being authentically yourself, being congruent and standing up for yourself, even when it's difficult.God will give you the strength and resilience to say what may be hard, to do what may be hard, and to strengthen yourself from the inside out, he/she will also help you to trust yourself to the depths that you really need to experience to become more empowered, all the while being congruent, loving and strong.Unravel the blind spots of pleading ignorance, the "I don't know's", and let yourself be authentic. With great amount of compassion for your journey, I pray this serves you.Jackie Gutknecht Connect with me for a healing session at Thelightembrace.com
