Pleasure
from The Lightroom
To the sinful nature of man, freedom at the beginning looks like bondage and bondage at the beginning looks like freedom. You may be in control of the journey, but the end is surely out of your control. Freedom without righteous and necessary boundaries is wickedness and it ends in destruction. Whenever Satan discredits God's standard, it is only because he wants to introduce a sinful alternative that enslaves you. God doesn't want you to want things in place of Him or want things more than you want Him. The true meaning of life is only experienced when Christ is in His rightful place in the heart of a man and in the life of a man. You're created for God's pleasure, God didn't create you for pleasure. He created you for His pleasure and He created pleasure for you. Anytime outside this is sin and it's perversion. When a man is not satisfied with God, He begins to look for sinful alternatives and that leads to the destruction of the man.
