PM recognizes Armenian genocide

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has for the first time  recognized the genocide carried out by Ottoman Empire against Armenians  in the early 20th century. He made the comment in an English language podcast interview with  Patrick Bet-David. Armenians have long sought international recognition of the killings by the Ottoman Empire, which reportedly left some 1.5 million of their people dead, as a genocide. Turkey strongly rejects the  genocide claim.
