PMIC - 019 - Pursue Victory - Paige Callaway

from Proudly Made in Canada Podcast by Local Laundry · host Local Laundry

This week on the Proudly Made in Canada podcast, Paige Callaway owner of Purse Victory and Paige 1912, joins Kathleen and Connor for episode 19.  Paige tells Connor and Kathleen about her experience in garment construction, couturier and how there are over 70 measurements that need to be taken when beginning to create a custom garment. After attending to school at Ecole Holt Couture, which happens to be the only couturier school in the world and also happens to be in Calgary, Paige identified a gap in the market and wanted to construct shirts and garments that fit a lady's body properly.  Kathleen is impressed at how empowering Pursue Victory and Paige 1912 are for women and celebrates with Paige that a woman's size or shape does not define her value. Connor asks Paige for her insight into how to set up a fashion show, how she remains Canadian made and advice for other entrepreneurs and starts up getting started in the fashion industry.  Listen to the full episode and check out our newest arrivals for spring on the Local Laundry shop :) https://locallaundry.ca/collections/new-arrivals
