After years of campaigning, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) finally has a name change: polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS).According to experts, the previously confusing and inaccurate name lead to misunderstanding around the disease. It's hoped the update will bring more accurate diagnoses and treatment for women with the condition.
