TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Hello beautiful people. And welcome. Yes. Yes.

This is Randy Bier, it's every actual Monday. August 11th, 2005, this program begins now. Football. We're off a little bit, but we had a great time.

We hope you did as well. You're going to see some pan skins, some fresh vibes, and an exciting group of dudes that are able to talk about a lot of sports happening, most specifically the NFL being all the way back. Obviously we're in the middle preseason football. There's a lot of storylines on narratives and injuries taking place.

Adam Schafford joining us in about 15 minutes or so. Then we'll be joined by Dana White. Congrats to Dana White, UFC and TKO. They just signed a $7.7 billion deal with Paramount, plus I believe, which is the Skydance property.

It's also part of CBS for all United States events, basically, for the next seven years. Congrats to them. Well, that's all I'm going to say. That's great for sports.

And also, it won't be a pay-per-view model. So you'll just, if you're a subscriber to the Paramount Plus operation, you'll just be able to see all the UFC stuff. You also see all the tongue cruises, stuff. You see South Park stuff.

Feels like they are spending a lot of money and trying to do it differently than everybody else. So obviously, it has these big events. And it has people pay a price to do it. Like, hey, how do we get people onto our platform?

Well, we have a big event. Have them have to pay for it. And now they're on a platform. That's kind of been this new streaming pay-per-view operation.

This one, allegedly, just going to come with whatever it is. All their biggest events in the United States are going to be able to be watched just via the stream on Paramount Plus, if you're a subscriber. So congrats. I'm getting the deal done.

Hopefully, it works out for all parties. And we love when $7.7 billion being poured into sports as opposed to other places. Dana White, which is about 1240-1245, talking about that particular deal. And then the second hour, we'll have Dan Ralowski.

Now, reason why we're going to have Dan Ralowski on this, because I'm sure we're in the middle of the Dan Wagon train situation right now. Dan's latching that wagon to a lot of different things. The Dan Wagon, he's starting to really get rolling. Can't wait to hear his thoughts.

He also ranked quarterbacks in like 14 different things. Top 10 is basically. Second reaction ability, mechanic's ability, arm strength stuff, situational awareness, ball placement. I mean, you've done it.

Dan Ralowski's judging them. We'll talk to them about it all. And also, there's one particular quarterback that's been pretty absent from all of it. And he was the quarterback of the number one team in the NFC last year.

The Detroit Lions, you'll see Jared Goff on any of this. He don't see Jared Goff on any of this. He even did like mechanics, which I think he's where Jared Goff is like number nine now. Ball placement, decision making.

Nope, no, good enough. Little bit heat between Ralowski and Jared Goff back in Detroit. Anyway, you look a little bit too much like how I looked in that uniform. Just doing a little bit too good.

Maybe a little bit of that. We'll talk to Dan about all of it. The NFL being back is great. We've been watching all the clips, Hard Knocks obviously, out there as an SEC special on Netflix.

I mean, we've really taken advantage of last week and a half to try to digest it all. And I can't wait to chat about all with a great group of dudes. The Talks Stables here at Bus Conner at Ty Schmitt Con, Newhead. Hey, yeah.

We did it. We did it. We did it. Had extremely long hair.

Was don't care now. It's just kind of long hair. I think I do care now a lot more, especially with football being back. It's incredible time to be alive right now.

And just having it on the TV, whether it's two minutes of good football or three minutes of good football or sometimes even no minutes of good football. It's just nice to have the football on the screen. Really good football. I had a new England Patriots.

I'll kick off. I got to check out their outside. I got their outside. I got their own football.

Yeah. And wait, fight. I like what the new England Patriots got going on. But that's part of the story.

Let's go to Ty Schmitt. Patrick's look good, brother. No, yeah. The Packers look like Henry Dockship.

So I know it's a reaction Monday. I was I've been trying not to I didn't want to come in here and just. Yeah, of course it's good day. We're back.

We're back. We're back. We're back. We're back.

We're back. So we'll see the one thing I am excited about, seemingly the only guy on the team who can catch because they were played by drops big time last year is Matthew Golden. So you know, our first round draft picks looking great. Jordan Love throwing dots to guys guys dropping them defense didn't look great bunch of penalties.

Not good. Hey, let's go. Let's go. I'm not going to read.

Let's go. I'm not going to read. Let's go. You guys are running back out of Iowa.

You guys go out there. We need to be him and acting to him everything. How do you feel about Pittsburgh Steel's balls? Steel really, really good against the Jaguars.

I mean, two of the best quarterbacks in preseason so far. I believe Mason was not at 10 with a touchdown to Darnell Washington which he's going to be used a ton this year in the mountain watching in the Baltimore Ravens fan who exploded in everybody's algorithm because of a Lamar Jackson quote tweet retweet him watching Mount Washington do his. I mean, Georgia, remember, he was going to just rock powers was the tight end of the ball. They just had a six foot seven, 320 pound guy that was able to move and jump over people and block and he's a Pittsburgh I don't think they use them as much as they should.

I think if you have a guy at 67320 and they don't, and you got to move and they can't, you should definitely utilize that ice tomorrow this year. Watch and butter, learn of this guy. Was some of the greatest internet I've seen in some time. His face just naturally sits in a, what's this shit in a, but I appreciate it.

But yes, Mount Washington, real life, big. I mean, there's levels to this shit. He is a gigantic human. Roger Hayan, good.

Roger super high, Scott Thompson, great game. Kayla Johnson, who you mentioned? Yes, he did have a couple of drops, potentially whatever. But he never caught a football game.

Yeah, yeah, good question. You can't. I don't know what he did. They never had it.

They didn't throw the ball at Iowa State. Can't see the ball go through the sky. What is what the hell? When did we start?

Never seen a forward pass, but he broke outside on Travis Hunter. Oh, yeah. So yeah, we're going to find a real high. OK, so that seems to be the attitude in a lot of places.

Obviously Packers fan a little bit, but they're doing the not just pre-season. Now you're in a film, ladies and gentlemen, there's people. I know you're excited about this just as much as I am. Because pre-season football brings out a lot of breath, you know, breath, bro.

He killed it on his left side, bro. It's pre-season. So we thought it would only be right to put together the all bro team. Congratulations to these fine gentlemen who've been stealing headlines throughout the pre-season with their exquisite play in a football game that certainly will never go on the record.

No, but we might remember forever. Now it's the all-mera team strictly because you can fight either side of this thing. And I think it's a good thing that you play well in these situations that seemingly don't matter. But there's a lot of chatter about the captain of this year's team.

No questions asked. We should have put the scene on a little bit earlier, but I just decided to put the scene on him right now because it has captivated the fifth round pick. So I think we should judge it as a fifth round pick conversation. And I don't want to hammer home the same exact topics that everybody else is talking about.

But holy shit, the way the shit door story is going right now is phenomenal for fodder. Yes. For fodder. For everything.

But also maybe for the Cleveland Browns. Now you've got a couple of the other guys, Justin Fields comes out. He's obviously the fastest guy on the field still at all times. Congrats Aaron Glenn in the New York Jets maybe having an entire new world.

Jackson Dark, don't look now. Wait a minute. I can run and he's a gunslinger. And he looks really cool.

Very cool. Yeah, he looks very cool. Having a great pre-season. Tyler Warren?

Yeah. Yeah. He's Bill the right stuff, boys. Yeah.

He's out here doing it. We don't know who the quarterback's going to be for the Indianapolis Colts. But we do know Tyler Warren is certainly going to be getting the rock, Jared. Start him doing it yet again in another pre-season.

Tanner McKee really changing the world. Trey Lant, holy hell. He can play football. Yeah.

Yeah. Trey Lant, Henderson. How you doing? Keep moving on.

Take one of the crib. Willie Lamkin. What a dog. Lant, yeah.

Absolute dog, this Willie Lam. Yeah, probably the future of the Rams. If you're a Rams fan, all you're thinking yourself is holy hell. We got a 5'11, 290 pound center out of North Carolina, who's basically AQ Shipley, but probably even a little cooler because he's fatter.

No, no, lighter. Lighter. Excuse me. Yeah, yeah.

He's probably a little bit quicker because he's lighter. Whatever AQ is coming out, he's 5'11, 355. This guy's 5'11, 29. Do you remember we've seen him?

Good dude. Yeah, yeah. Different game. We've seen the track.

Sickle. Well, and also, number AQ. I don't know about him. Yeah, you're right.

AQ is a hollow fan of the feet. I think Willie might be too. Yeah, I mean, we assume Lamkin will be able to pull it off. The rest of the boys obviously did incredible things.

We have a kicker on the team in Cam Little Ice. Soon there was a bunch of punters that did well. We apologize. We did not look through all the film of every punter.

So shout out to all of the punters that were punning in these preseason games. You guys did great. Unless you're strength one, then you know you suck. And you're not on a stick.

But if you hit a good ball, congratulations on the squad. Cam Little hitting that 70 yard field goal in bra. It's preseason. Bra.

The game doesn't matter. Bra. Snap hold kick 70 yards anywhere. Practice.

You name it. Training camp. Middle season practice in a game with refs and humans watching. Pulling it off.

Cam Little. Absolute Dog Pal. He's a football writer, association, looking like a rock and saw. Lot of moxie.

Boys celebrating the shit out of it. And also, I love that down there in. Dude. They sent him out there for a 70 yard at the end of half as opposed to some coach.

Let's just try Hail Mary. You know, let's just try Hail Mary. Cam Little hit in this. That means in practice he's hitting this on a pretty regular basis.

That thing was beautiful. That thing was a no-daughter. Congrats Cam Little. He's on your all-brought team.

Now, what does this mean for how his season will go? Last try, I think he missed two kicks. I think he was like 23 or 25 or something like that. 24 or 26 really good.

This kid might be the next one. And we'll be honored that he's a part of the all-brought. Yeah. Oh, I'm not sure.

He will do it. Which is the story of a lot of these guys. Okay. Right now, the reason why they're on the all-brought team is because there's so much conflict on whether or not they're actually good or if the game doesn't matter.

You know, because you see Shador up there, our captain. Yeah. Captain, okay. Climbing.

Just doing everything. Just putting his head down. Walking in the stadium music playing. Walking with a goddamn guy.

He got a staff quarterback coming around. He has a staff with him at all times when he's not playing. I watched a movie Jungle with a Jungle when I was a kid. Tim Allen had a child with another lady.

And up in the jungle. That kid comes in because of the lady. And he's dressed like a holly. This guy dresses.

He also walked out on the back. There he is. He's a jungler. He's a jungler.

He's a jungle. This is my basketball. He's definitely a defensive player than one figure better. He's in the guy's skate road.

The guy was just out there celig. on that side. Oh, he played great. It's just a pre-season.

Oh, he's done. Oh, I told you he was gonna stink. So, but he showed up, all the pressures on him, all the laces on him. But that's just gonna take pre-season games and pretty much glorify practices, but just like a little with that long field goal.

When you have live reps that you really never have with quarterbacks, pressure on them, that's why it counts. So, rolling out right here to his left. Step up. This is the play you see, weekend, a week out, NFL reset his feet, it's the right-handed quarterback, it's tough.

Flipping hips, and then you make an accurate throw over the low flat defender, accurately to that tight end who wins the leverage late against the corner back. Great throw, great ball placement. That's what you want to see out of your rookie quarterback. He wasn't fifth round pick.

We all know he shouldn't have been, but he's showing up and taking advantage of the opportunity. A lot of people talked about, hey, he's getting in there, he's getting set up for failure. No, NFL regardless of where you're drafting. What was all that talk?

I mean, they didn't have any reps for the first team and they're throwing them out there. Yeah, the first team wasn't gonna be on the field. Yeah, well, that's not how it's not gonna wrap with the first team. The first team was on the field.

That shouldn't affect what's happening. But I do appreciate that everybody was kind of going to bat form before the game was even played. Like kind of, because that is the reality of the situation. Like there's some quarterbacks that are gonna look like shit because they don't have an offensive line block form or they don't have any wide receivers.

I know the guy damn routes. So you can definitely set a precedent. I didn't like that they were just like, they're throwing, he's getting screwed basically for starting in this game. I thought that was a very interesting take.

So I was very appreciative of the fact that he went out there and played well and that didn't end up being the thing because I was like, you know, this is what we want to see, right? Don't we want to see? Yeah. And every time we heard him talk, every time you hear him talk, all he talks about is just been thankful for the opportunity.

And that's what you want as a player. You just want the opportunity. So screw all the other stuff. You're guards and when that comes, we all hear as athletes the Wally Pipp story.

And as a quarterback, as any type of player, you never want somebody taking those reps. I pre-seasoned a little different ball game, but I'm glad he took advantage of it. Our second play we got here, which we also, once again, stepping up, once again, a live rep. So you got pressure in your face.

This what you're gonna have to do is a quarterback NFL, step up in dirty pockets, pressure in your face, stare him down, keep your eyes down and feel it, make it accurate, throw it. Most of these dig bars, one to two yards right outside of dig, right outside the hash marks, he put that ball right on him with two guys in his face. It's exactly what you want to see from a quarterback. If there's one thing he learned at Colorado in back, I talked about this a lot the last couple years, it's how to throw it through his face because he was the pressure quarterback in Colorado and he was tough as shit.

Yeah, also he flexed on him after I've never seen some blind side shots where he's fully exposed at Colorado and he steps in throw, time in their ear hole in 2024. No penalties somehow because he's outside the pocket every other day and then he's literally up celebrating with the guy he just did with Dutch Nutsu. It's like that type of toughness is real and he can't teach it at all. And that'll probably be the biggest area for improvement for him.

He did take a couple of sacks I think on third down, extending plays, running back. You can't really do that in the league. Guys are too fast, too physical, but you learn from it. Something he showed too was more of his athleticism of being able to run the ball break your pocket.

In his next clip, you'll see him actually break your pocket. This was pressure from his right side. The end puts the pressure on him. He squeeze out to the right.

Once again, it got his face accurate over the top. Great one-handed catch, but that's exactly when you want to put that ball if you're a quarterback with the guy you always hear in the meat rooms, if you're a D-Lignment, you're rushing the quarterback, get that left up. You throw it over the top. Great range drop ball to receive it.

Unfortunately, put his hand me. They've got some bad news with him. He's been released by the way for Brad's. But he'll be out two to three weeks.

He's not getting surgery at grade two something. Hopefully, he gets another opportunity. But it's tough. He could have been the old bro.

He's on the sorry, bro team. No, but he's not sorry, bro. Which is a part of the old bro team. That's part of the old bro team.

I'm sorry, team, bro. We're sorry. We're sorry, bro. He's going to get picked up.

He's going to get picked up. He's catching the first thing. I hope so. I think he is actually.

I'm probably going to use Brad's right. I'm trying to produce and captain right now to high club. Uh oh. Pre-season football.

Uh oh. Uh oh. This last clip in the rear of his second touchdown of the game. Once again, trust in his protection.

You'll see the back scan across, pick him up, step up in the pocket, reset the feet, and make an accurate throw across the middle. It's going to be a little tighter windows on Sundays when the game matters. But once again, this is what you want to see from your quarterback. Getting actual live reps with a bunch of guys you probably didn't have a bunch of reps with.

That is important. You know, people made a big story out of it, but you never know when you're going to get the opportunity. Even as a DB, like you weren't as comfortable going into games if you didn't take reps with a nickel or a corn or a safe throw line back because that you can communicate with and get those things pre-snap and post-snap. So that is a big thing, but I loved everything I saw from, you know, really all the young quarterback.

How the Chuck Mason good throws, Cam Warr, who's not getting talked about it much as in number one, uh, pick he made some good throws, Jackson Dart, you mentioned him. He made some good throws, but I think the most, the brightest light was definitely on your door Sanders and he stepped up. Absolutely. A lot of eyes on that game strictly because your doors there.

So as much as the people that don't like it, they're all watching. Yeah. Floyd Mayweather appeal right now that people that they don't like. Yeah.

The people that don't like them. Now for us that are big time coach prime fans. Hey, look at that. Yeah.

Yeah. Back where you're supposed to be. And I enjoy shadoring away his handling it all, you know, the whole family the way they operate. So for me to see him go out and do well, I think it was cool.

Yeah. I think it was very cool. Now, bro, we do have to keep everything in perspective. Yeah, that's pretty.

And that's why we got a couple more preseason games left. And we will over react all every single time. And then real season will come around and guess what will happen. We'll go, now, now, remember, can you pick it in 2023?

That's why he's on the bottom right corner of this particular draft, the all brought team because let's not decapitated here. Okay, there this can go away where he ends up being a super champion for another team. Sure. So you have a great preseason season.

There's a chance that it doesn't go great with your team, but you could go on away super bowl somewhere else. So that's what all the all brought team members need to look forward to after week one for most of these. Never forget Kenny 13 to 15 200 yards, five straight touchdown drives. Remember that tone came in here.

Stills were back. Seven's back on. It's not even just Kenny Pickett. I think it was just the entire offense as well.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, because you know, and then the season happened if you recall worst offense in history of football. That's what Deontay Johnson. Yeah, it was the worst in history of football. They were chaining to fire the offensive coordinator in Utah and Utah, the country, the state of Utah, thanks dressed up like the devil on Halloween as Matt Canada.

I mean, that's how bad it was. But in 2023, now preseason, they were you guys were winning the ball. So let's not get too excited. Well, let's not get too low.

But let's make sure we celebrate those who are doing well, because it's better than doing ass. So congratulations to the boys. So now ladies and gentlemen, if you're senior NFL insider for ESPN friend of the broken Michigan man, ladies and gentlemen, I'm chef. What's up, everybody?

How are you doing? I'm on the drive to Bristol. So hopefully we don't have any bad Wi-Fi zones, but bear with me and hopefully we can make it through uninterrupted. It's okay.

That's the home of sports coverage, you know, up there in Bristol, Connecticut. I put a good tweet out about that place during a break. Had a lot of action. Tell those people I said hello up there.

Now on that note, you've been in the same long time. Long time. How many preseason's? Do you remember?

I've covered belief over 35 years, so it'll be about 30, if we're six preseason. Okay, they should doorpipe. How regular is this like once every 10 years, something like this happens? Like how often do you think this type of situation, especially because he's delivering, he delivered in a big way and he said, he said everything right.

He went to, he went to Cleveland early to go be in the community, fifth round pick to this team. Now, the people that hate him say, oh, this is bullshit, but the people that support him and think like, hey, maybe there's a chance here or like, hey, keep going. What are your thoughts on it and how regular of a situation is this over your 35 years? Well, I think there are always players that get your attention to preseason.

But again, very rarely have we ever seen a player who was projected to be a first round pick or a high to the fifth round and play quarterback and go through everything that should or went through the first couple nights of the dress. I remember Friday night, Pat, as the third round was coming to a close, the number of texts that I got from people in other communities like acting music, other sport. It was crazy. The amount of people that were interested in why he slid to where he did.

And he wound up going in the fifth round. So there was a ton of attention. It carries over to the preseason. And I could just think of certain quarterbacks at certain times that flashed and popped in the preseason the way that Shador did on Friday night.

Now again, I want to be very clear. One game, one game. So we'll see what you couldn't help. Walked that one game and not be impressed by what he did that night.

He threw the ball really well. He was accurate. He was composed. He was poised.

He was all the things that you want to see. And I think that you're looking for right away is guys show right away. It's not too big for them. They belong.

They can play or it is too big for them and they can't play and they don't belong and Shador look like he belonged. And so yeah, I mean, again, when I think back on quarterbacks in the preseason, Russell Wilson in 2012 popped right away. And that was an off season in which the Seahawks paid a lot of money from Matt Flynn as a free agent quarterback and they sprayed it for Charlie Whitehurst. And I think that's when the Cowboys directed Dak Prescott and then he came on and lit it up in the preseason went exceptionally well.

And you can just watch those guys right away and say they got it. They got it. And that's the way for one game. It looked for Shador.

But you know what? The one game now leads to conversations about how much time he's going to get in the second game. And because now you have to take a longer look. Now we got to see, okay, well, what was this about?

Did we all miss on this guy in the draft? Did he fall farther than he should? Was everybody right about him and the teams were wrong? Like, did so many fans.

We thought he should go so high and no people thought he should go so high and he goes to the tip round. And now, and again, there's one game. I want every guy's one game. What is a great star?

It was in my entire thing has led to he could have played like S. Yeah, and he didn't. He played great. So it's like, how we judge?

We can only judge off what we see now who he's playing against, who he's playing with not NFL. Okay, that's not irrelevant. No, no, no, but I would like to say this though. I'd like to say this.

We have remember his fifth round pick. Okay, that's how the teams are going to view him. That's how Cleveland's going to view him because they invested that in. So when you talk about playing in the preseason, it's like you're talking about how much time like this is when fifth round picks would be, I mean, this is their time.

This is their shot. So any opportunity to get on a few other things great, even if he's not with guys that he's familiar with, this is the NFL, this is what preseason is for. Hopefully he'll continue to go now preseason also devastating for some teams every single year. Injuries happen.

These injuries take place and all of a sudden, before the season even begins, we didn't have a chance to have our full roster, especially with all of our talent left, Apple for the Chargers, obviously sat. I mean, absolutely devastating situation. Happy he got paid. And once again, this is why people look for deals as opposed to getting franchise tagged and everything like that, because you never know what's going to happen in a sport that is so combative and physical.

Now Matthew Stafford, I think McVayner, everybody said he's going to be okay. Lane and Dickerson, heartbreaker over there in Philly got carted out, obviously that offense align, they are what they are. Lucas, Matt, Ron Delmore, Anthony, Najee. Is there anything else we should be looking at?

And how, how do you classify these injuries if you just want to go through the list yourself? Well, first of all, Alexander Madison, the Dolphins running back goes down yesterday in the game against the Bears. Neck injury gets taken by ambulance to a local hospital in Chicago, where he proceeds to go undergo season ending neck surgery. So you can add Alexander Madison to that list.

There's a terrible injury, unfortunate. And I think they got a good prognosis from the surgery to where they think he'll be able to play again next year. But Richaun Slater, he becomes the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history on July 27th. And then here 10 or so days later, basically, ruptures has been tele-ended and needs surgery.

And he's out for the amount of the Stafford's been dealing with the back. But the Rams really look 36 years old, back quarterback, gonna take his backs, don't seem to get better. But I think he's gonna be okay. I was in their building last week.

And I mean, if they game right now today, Matthew Stafford is playing. So they're trying to maintain him and make sure that he's gonna be as healthy as he can be when the season opens, Landon Dickerson's having an MRI on his knee today. We'll see what comes back there. He's been a warrior in the NFL level, has not missed any time, but has a history of knee injuries in college that led to him falling into the second round, Lucas Niang out for the year.

Matt Hennigan, Torna Killies, Rondale Price in the injury, sounds like the season's over, Anthony Richardson the dealing with the pinkish, which isn't long term, and Najee Harris, he didn't include Dion Bush, the chief safety who ruptured his Achilles on Saturday night. Like the Ravens have lost some rookie quarterbacks to knee injuries. Listen, it's the worst part of the preseason. Inevitably, guys come back and these guys are so big and so strong and so fast.

Of course, of course. Somebody's in, unfortunately, are inevitable and to your point, to your point, though, this is why, like if I'm Mike Parsons or Trey Anderson or Terry McClure, you got to be really careful. Like you get one practice, one practice. Yeah, you need to remember that whenever you report your inside information from the teams.

All right, they've offered everything they possibly could to Trey Anderson. He needs to do that. He needs to do that. It's like you get shown these stats, you know, like, hey, there's a chance tomorrow you go out there one dip and rip and your elbow, shoulder, knee and ankle.

How about old buddy from the Ravens? Was that his? Oh, my God. That is what they are talking about.

Whatever they talk about around the edge. So that's scary stuff. It's no fun. It seems to happen every single preseason.

Also another injury, not on their go ahead. Jerry Jones mentioned that's why he's kind of weird paying guys. But speaking to Jerry Jones, his guy got a wasn't on that list of those series injuries, T's and P's. I've got an update on CD lamb.

We saw him take a hell of a shot on the sideline, the Cowboys preseason game and he updated on CD. Well, he got penalized on this play, which was one of the craziest highlights of the weekend. He has his hands up the official for lives. CD lamb goes down.

It was the hardest hit. He took all game and he got penalized on the play. The league is reviewing it to see if there'll be a fine. That's necessary, which would obviously add insult to injury or money to injury.

Unfortunately, he's okay. Look, everybody's laughing and hugging him, but you get hit like that. I know it's just an official, but you're not expecting it. Who knows what to happen.

Official, clean, to be clear. Low man does win all the time. And that official had pretty good. Yeah, he showed up at training camp looking good, feeling good about the year.

CD like, Oh, that would suck so bad. I'm not a great reminder to get like explained to me. You guys are flip over. Like, what is he celebrating?

That's why open when he's a big chef. That's down. Yeah. Okay.

But did they complete the best? They scored no. No, but she had to celebrate his boy. This is the wide receiver room.

And he's literally pointing out and say, Hey, we got him. We got him. We got him. Probably we probably knew the call.

It was going to be double moles. See, that's him scoring a touchdown at this boat in the regular season. He knew the call knew the coverage knew everything. Hey, this could be this guy, right?

And it is yeah. Touch that. And the rest like, uh, outfield are running for a home run right right to the wall. No, I mean, his whole face is on CD's back.

Yeah. And he's got stiff chest when he's running to. I mean, that's great. Great.

Great. But we always get told in a sideline regardless of what level football, but especially NFL get back state off the white, usually a get back coach or someone. City knows. I mean, he's used to being on the field, obviously, but he knows I'm sure he'll get a talking to that was a player a little lower in the roster.

It's a bigger deal, but they'll probably find him just to make it a bigger statement across the league because that is a big deal for refs to do their job. Did the ref finish the game, chef? Of course. Yeah.

Yeah. He's, he's probably from this week, we'll be back for three days a week, two, three hours ago. He's been all good. All right.

Let's talk a little bit more about one down. He should be hey, that ref. Yeah. He's the official official.

Yeah. Probably all brought to bro. You're right. Really fast.

Bro, a little awareness. We're all right. You're all right. You're all right.

We're all right. We're all right. We're all right. We're all right.

We're all right. We're right. We're all right. We're all right.

We're all right. We're all right. We're all right. We're going to go ahead, Tom.

Yeah. I wanted to ask about another player and Dallas one that we also did not see on the field. Uh, Mike Parsons. He did a thank you Dallas situation where you put out.

It's a long note section. Are we anywhere new on the Jerry and Micah and getting a new contract? Is he going to be there week one? Do we know?

See also, can I quickly? Micah, when we screenshot that, we can't be repeating sentences. You can edit that thing screenshot it put it down. So then we don't have to go back through and I read this thing for right.

Anyway, but Micah, I appreciate you getting your thoughts out there and I like that you use your notes section. I also use that section. This is wonderfully put together and I think you think everybody, but I was not happy about Micah. You got to show.

You got big brain. You're a smart guy. You get the biz. You just drop it down.

You just drop it down. Come on. Message show that across the chef. Yeah.

Right. Four times. It was a lot. A lot of words.

I did. I read twice. Did you read it? No.

That's why you don't know what I'm saying. So like the end of the sentence is not the beginning of the next picture. Find it in the middle. Three sentences back.

You know what I mean? Like a picture one. No, we just have a thing picture two page two. We're going to new stuff.

You know what I mean? I'm OG note screenshot sender. Yeah. OG.

I'm new school. Just chat GPT. Some rises to three sentences. Oh my God.

See that's not good. My reading. Have you seen the brain memes about the chat GPT people? I don't blue in the studies.

I like the chat GPT. Tell you say that. Maybe. Let me ask you GPT with my thoughts are on how to get affected by very nice.

Anyways, go ahead. Shifting. Sorry about everyone. All that.

That's like a Micah. I it's unbelievable that that statement came out about 10 days ago. And since that statement came out, there have been zero contract talks between the Dallas Cowboys and Michael Parsons that you would think that something like that would trigger some conversation to get everybody all sides in one room to try to get a deal done. And in fact, it feels like it's done the opposite.

It feels like Micah is disappointed and bothered by the way the Cowboys have done their business. It feels like the Cowboys are bothered and disappointed that Micah would make his feelings known like that as for a trade. Jerry Jones felt like he had a deal in place with Micah that that isn't going to get done right now. And now all of a sudden there are a whole host of new issues that we have to ask if these two sides are unwilling to talk, which has been the case and unwilling to negotiate.

So okay. Now we got Micah Parsons who says he has back tightness and he's not practicing. Classic back. Remember the hamstring?

That's good one. Yeah. Yeah. Back tight.

You know, I'll bet you back tightness can linger for a long time and back tightness. Yeah. Usually lingers when contract negotiations usually are not progressing. So the Cowboys opened their regular season three weeks from Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles and Jerry Jones himself has said that he doesn't know it may not expect like it to play in that opening game against the Eagles.

And so now they're making no progress. They're not talking about a new deal and unless things change, you have to wonder where this is going. The Cowboys have said they're not coming back. They're not interested in trading them.

They're not that's what they say. But at some point in time, if you're not going to sign the guy, then you're going to move the guy. There's two choices sign them or trade them. And right now they're not talking contract.

He's got a tight back. And so who knows where this is? Hey, my question for you, Chef, with all this and the type back obviously we hope he's okay. He is a special town on the football field.

We would hope to watch him all year. But if that back does get a little bit better if you sleep on a pile of money, we also have seen this in the past in this entire thing. As your connection goes unstable in this entirety. Jerry Jones said, Jay Z, is this real?

I've been seeing a lot of quotes about him dealing with JZ with rock nation agency back in the day. Jerry didn't negotiate deals with agents. Why does this continue to be talked about as if this is like his thing? Like, yeah, I don't talk to the agents.

Like, how have you got every everybody's represents themselves, the place for the Cowboys? Yeah, no, no, no. I think I think over time, Jerry has had a history of doing some of his biggest deals with some of his most well known players. Exactly.

I handshake that. He gets the man he's talking to him. And in this particular case, Jerry felt like he had a deal. But Micah and his agent never felt like there was a deal.

There's no paper, there's no contract, there's no nothing that was presented. I feel like he was wrong. Yeah, so there's two different interpretations, two different interpretations of the events that went on in the discussions between Jerry Mike and the bottom line is they're nowhere right now. And it feels like the state of the relationship has gotten worse.

And again, it's going to be really interesting to see how tight Micah's back is on opening night. Yeah, I hope we see Micah, I hope we get a deal done. I'm going to say this for how good a player Micah has been with being a first round pick for the Dallas Cowboys with the night he gets drafted saying he dreamt of being a Dallas Cowboys and all that for him to go into his fifth year of his rookie contract without a new deal is abnormal. Not just for like Dallas Cowboys, I think just for that position, that player for any team, first rounder for you to hit like you're not going to deal done going into the fifth round very, going into the fourth year, Admiral yeah going into the fifth year which is the bonus year that they had to tag on top a little long to franchise that years we got ahead of this very abnormal.

It's a very weird situation in my area. You know, he's got a documentary coming out here about eight days right the game on the Cowboys, America team August 19th, 2025. I wonder if the last chapter will be him and Mike, Mike and I know I had Mike up. We were talking we were talking one of my rooms we agreed to a deal.

You say we didn't agree right here to him documentary. Maristy, okay, game on the cable. Oh, it's cool. So he feels like he was wrong.

He's what you're saying like business wise, he feels like he was bamboozled by Mike is that is that kind of the thought because if that is the case, I think Jerry's type of guy who will be oh yeah, fuck this. Is that accurate? Is that how this is being handled? That's a big piece of information.

That's why I understand maybe he's done that in the past. But if you are Michael in your plan is position, this is position that Miles Garrett reset it, TJ watch just jumped him. You're right in line. Like you said, he's done everything right from day one even last year like he was battling through some injuries when he could easily set out, you know, looking forward to getting his contract done.

And when you're Mike and you have one of the best agents in the game representing you, it would be like terrible for you. And I'm sure the PA wouldn't want to do this anyway to represent yourself and he's negotiating. Oh, let me shake your hands that's how you've done it. That's ridiculous.

It's too much money at stake for Michael. Jerry, you can do it. He's gonna be around for, you know, his business is gonna be a forever in his family. But Michael, you've got the right thing.

Get your business done right. Yeah. And also, I'm okay with deals getting done via handshake. This is very future reference.

But got a hammer out of the details on paper. Yeah. I mean, that is legitimately how it all works. Hey, you have to we're kind of hypothesizing about the entire situation here.

So Jerry believes, and this probably already been reported. So I apologize. We're on beach. Yeah, exactly.

Somewhere on the beach. No, no, no, no, baby. She's off all day long. Jerry feels wronged by Michael because they had a handshake deal that Mike had then re naged on in this entire thing.
