KiniNews is now also available at: Spotify: https://mk.my/sH14qeJApple podcast: https://mk.my/jPylPZC[KiniNews] Padang Serai MP Azman Nasrudin has been charged today with abetting a businessperson to receive RM400,000 in bribes for a feedlot project.According to the charge sheet, Azman had allegedly abetted the crime by ordering Kedah Agro Holding Berhad (KAHB) to issue an offer letter to a businessperson, Hassanaim Fauzi, who paid the bribe.The bribe was allegedly given to another businessperson, Amar Assuat Abu Bakar, who was also charged with soliciting and receiving a bribe from Hassanaim.Azman and Amar pleaded not guilty to the charges at the Shah Alam Sessions Court.Meanwhile, in a separate story, the MACC has denied former PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli’s allegations that the commission had been used to probe candidates who were not aligned with PKR president Anwar Ibrahim and his daughter Nurul Izzah during the party polls in May.Describing the allegations as “baseless and untrue”, MACC emphasised that investigations are conducted solely based on complaints or information received.___________________📌 Share this news!
