Big news for the island — Ibiza is set to experience a rare total solar eclipse next month, and the clubs are already moving. A series of eclipse-themed sunset events are being planned around the occasion, with Pikes hosting a takeover at 528 Ibiza featuring DJ Harvey. That's the kind of booking that fits the moment perfectly. [STORY BREAK] Also on the Ibiza front, BBC Radio 1 Dance is expanding its Ibiza schedule, adding UNVRS, Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza to its broadcast lineup this season. [STORY BREAK] And Jamie Jones joins the Feels Like Eclipse Festival line-up — tropical scenes incoming, as the billing puts it. [STORY BREAK] Over in Germany, Electrisize returns to Erkelenz on August 7th to 9th for its 17th edition. The headline story this year is the 10th anniversary of HARDSIZE — the festival's hardstyle stage that started as an internal risk nobody believed in and has since grown to rival the Mainstage in scale. Brennan Heart, who opened the stage back in 2016, returns for the occasion, joined by Ran-D, Coone and Sickmode. A proper milestone. [STORY BREAK] Sicily is holding its own this summer — PHASE 2 FSTVL is bringing Ben Klock and NOVAH to Catania, on the island's eastern strip. [STORY BREAK] Chicago sister duo me n ü are having a breakout year — moving from intimate coffee shop performances to some of dance music's biggest stages. They spoke about their project Hope House and finding their place in the scene. One to watch if they're not already on your radar. [STORY BREAK] Tomorrowland has published the sets from its 2026 edition. If you missed either weekend, the recordings are now out — consider that your post-festival recovery sorted. [STORY BREAK] Label news: Monstercat and Rampage Recordings are consolidating their operations, joining forces and merging their respective labels. [STORY BREAK] Also on the label front, Sondela Recordings has launched a new imprint called Sondela Volt, dedicated to the deeper, darker and more club-focused side of African electronic music. The catalogue opens with a track called Ascendance, a collaboration, out since July 24th. [STORY BREAK] Numbers has reissued Hallucinator's Landlocked — Chain Reaction material, making it to vinyl for the first time, remastered by Rashad Becker at Clunk. Available to pre-order now. [STORY BREAK] A rare vinyl reissue is also on the way featuring remixes from house legends Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan. Details are limited but the names alone make it worth watching. [STORY BREAK] Jimi Jules has released Whisper To Me, a new collaboration with Swedish duo Modern Tales, out via Innervisions. The track grew from an unused bass sample originally recorded for Trippy Yeah, developed further while Jules was travelling. [STORY BREAK] Former Coppelia 101 resident and vinyl distributor Iván Smoka has launched a new retrospective mix series called Smoka Selects — spanning two decades of club culture. Archival mix series done right. [STORY BREAK] And finally on the news front — Rave The Planet 2026 remains uncertain following an attack during Berlin's CSD celebrations. Organisers say they are in talks with authorities, but as of now it's still unclear whether the event will go ahead. More to follow on that one. [STORY BREAK] Right, what's on tonight.
