Willie Nelson is many things: a lover, a traveler, a Texan, a guitar player, smoker, outlaw, hero, poet, fashion icon, actor, activist, philanthropist, gunslinger, wiseacre, animal lover, brother, father, husband (four times over), Hellraiser, braids and beard enthusiast, but most of all Willie is a friend to all.  In this episode of Pod Like A Hole the hosts discuss the life and times of WIllie Nelson. His brushes with the leaf and the law, his multiple wives, his work as a public servant to the people and animals of America, his collaborations that cross genres and his work with the other Outlaw Country Heroes, and how he manages to be a man that for 91 years and counting is still making music and along the way has become a friend to almost everyone in every walk of life.  We find time to touch on 10 or so of his standout albums (couldn't get to all 100+ of his records), and in the next episode we will dedicate the recording to his masterpiece: The Red Headed Stranger.
