Podcast #25: Ray Lamontagne - Chicago, IL - 04/04/05

As this being the 25th episode it is somewhat of a milestone for the LMP. Being as such I wanted to make it a bit extra special, but then I realized that the next episode will mark the show's one year anniversary. So after much debate I decided that the best option was to make both episodes special, but I will save the party horns for next time. The music for this episode comes from what is easily one of my favorite all time downloads and features singer/song-writer Ray Lamontagne. If this is your first encounter with Mr. Lamontagne's music be prepared to get some goosebumps.  His unique singing style combines a husky whisper with powerful raw emotion that comes straight from his soul. Combine that with Ray's excellent song writing, a very talented ensemble of musicians, and near soundboard quality you have a truly remarkable recording.
