Podcast 31 Honor thy Father and thy Mother

“Honour Thy Father and thy Mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God Giveth thee.”   “Father” and “Mother,” “Husband” and “Wife,” “Man” and “Woman” are sacred titles, whose holy office was ordained in the very beginning.  There is almost no language that can describe the feelings of a child to his mother or a mother to her child.  Marriage is defined as a sacred union between a man and a woman, bound by covenant.  The family, a model of heaven, is the divine conduit, the divine connection between heaven and earth.  Marriage between a man and a woman is ordained by God, sanctioned by God, and commanded by God. It is through the sacred covenant of marriage that God sends his children to earth to gain a physical body, to be nurtured, protected, and taught the ways of God.  If the family falls, the nation will fall.
