This year would include the documentary "Miles Davis: The Birth of the Cool"; books by Sammy Stein "Women in Jazz" and Ted Giola "Music - A Subversive History"; Quincy Jones' Qwest TV; and the return of David Sanborn to video with his streaming "Sanborn Sessions."
