For over 50 days, Eskom has suspended load shedding - no doubt a welcomed move in South Africa - but the timing of it all just doesn't seem right. We are of course just over a week away from elections and there's been a strong narrative that the suspension of the power cuts is to enable SA's political machine to keep moving.
