By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Following several complaints of alleged fraud and corruption at schools across KwaZulu-Natal to the Parents Association of KZN, an urgent meeting will tomorrow be held to empower governing bodies in ways to best deal with such incidents. The meeting is taking place at the Nelson Mandela Community Youth Centre at Chatsworth south of Durban from 2PM. Issues of alleged selling of positions and interference in appointing teachers among other things will come under the spotlight. Chairperson of the Parents Association of KZN, Vee Gani says the meeting is open to the public.... *The Parents Association say they did invite representatives from the Provincial Department of Education. The Department did not confirm their attendance when queried by Newsbreak.
