#PODCAST ANC in KZN suspend seven councillors in Umzumbe

By Newsbreak Producer, Taliesha Naidoo - The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal has suspended seven ward councillors of Umzumbe local municipality in the south of the province. Provincial Secretary Bheki Mtolo says they suspended the councillors for attending last week's special council sitting where Mlungisi Ndlovu of the IFP was elected as the mayor, ousting ANC's Bongani Nyuswa. The divisions within the councillors started late last year when the ANC suspended and later axed former Speaker, Sibonelo Maphumulo. SABC News reporter, Nonkululeko Hlope has more details…
