By Newsbreak Producer Hoosen Ebrahim - Over 190,000 candidates are expected to write the 2023 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations from the 30th of October until the 5th December. With over 1,000 accredited examination centres across Gauteng alone, the Department of Basic Education is tightening the grip on cheating during this time. They say that pupils together with educators will sign a pledge to alert them around the consequences of being dishonest. Department spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga spoke to Newsbreak to explain the process expected to unfold for pupils. He added that final results will be released around the 18th of January next year...
