This as over 70-thousand containers remain stuck on ships at the Durban Port Terminal due to Transnet's failing infrastructure. Director at the SA Association of Freight Forwarders, Mike Walwyn says the congestion is directly costing the economy R98 million a day. He says South Africa's reputation is going to take a massive hit due to the backlog. Walwyn says ships are being forced to dock at island nation, Mauritus, which then compromises the quality of goods coming into the country...
