#PODCAST Attracting over 2,000 competitors, KZN's Sapphire Coast Marathon takes place this Sunday #sabcnews

By Newsbreak Producer Hoosen Ebrahim - Avid road-runners wanting to compete in one of the country's most scenic races still have a chance to enter the Sapphire Coast Marathon to be held this Sunday. It comprises of the new new route along the Amanzimtoti coastline, south of Durban. This early qualifier for the Comrades Marathon 2024 has attracted over 2000 competitors. Late registration to participate in the run takes place at the Amanzimtoti Athletics Club today and tomorrow. Romy Wenzel of Sapphire Coast Tourism says the marathon is a major draw card for athletes, as well as visitors looking to experience the many tourism offerings found along the south Durban basin...
