#PODCAST Back to where it all began - the popular Merebank Fair returns to the Badulla Drive Grounds #sabcnews

By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - Running for the next two weekends, the ever-popular Merebank Fair promises an outing of entertainment, laughter and all-out fun. Presented by the Merebank Legacy Book Project, the event returns to the community for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic - with 2019 marking the last time an event of its kind took place. This year attendees can expect a multitude of dance and musical acts, sets by popular local DJ's and even a car show. One of the coordinators of the fair - Roshan Ramdheen joined us to preview the event. He says it's all about community building and contributing to the overall well-being of the area...  *The fair takes place from the 12th to the 14th & thereafter the 19th to the 21st of July at the Badulla Drive Grounds in Merebank.
