Senior citizen, Mala Naidoo, lives directly opposite the dump site situated on Sunset Avenue in Chatsworth. She says since the start of the municipal strike, almost three weeks ago, she has had to live with all her windows and doors closed, despite the severe heat. Piles of rubbish was left by residents outside the dump site since the strike began. Naidoo says she forced to take extreme measures to prevent the hundreds of maggots and rodents from entering her home...
