New medical aid scheme research has found that the prevalence of childhood obesity in children under five is at 13% - a particularly alarming stat, as it's more than double the worldwide average. Meanwhile, 60% of women aged 20-24 are dealing with excess weight or obesity. In contrast to this, approximately 14.5% of men within the same age group face similar issues.
