Data released by Statistics South Africa shows that the country's economy grew by 0,6-percent in the second quarter of 2023 from 0,4-percent in the first quarter. Contribution to the marginal improvement came from the agriculture, manufacturing, mining, finance and personal service industries among others. Director of Inkunzi Wealth Group, Owen Nkomo, says although the growth in the second quarter is a step in the right direction, more still needs to be done to ensure the economy grows in line with the country's population...
