Welcome, Chris Duval, the owner and founder of Circa Vintage Wear. This vintage clothing store is a South Coast institution. It was opened in 1986 specializing in men's and women's vintage clothing and accessories. Circa Vintage Wear mainly emphasizes the fashion and designs of the 20s-60s. Chris Duval's inspiration was mainly the fashion, and the reuse, recycling and reinterpretation of clothing while making it current.  Circa Vintage Wear wide selection encourages self expression. As Chris recounts, "So much amazing clothing was ending up in landfills and I wanted to create a space where people would be inspired to make vintage a viable commodity." Circa has grown over the past 38 years and evolved. But, it has maintained it's passion driven integrity. Chris spoke with The Artists Index co-founder, documentarian, and podcast host, Ron Fortier. They discussed both his journey in vinatage wear, Circa's establishment as the vinatage wear source in the South Coast and how Hollywood has come calling and shopping.
