#PODCAST eThekwini Municipality partner with recycler ALPLA and Coca-Cola for a billion-rand recycling initiative #sabcnews

By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - A billion-rand recycling initiative has kicked off in the eThekwini Municipality aimed at improving the City's waste management while creating jobs. The three year programme will see the installation of litter booms to protect the river systems and the coastal line as well as education and awareness programme targeting communities. The project is a partnership between the eThekwini Municipality's Cleansing and Solid Waste (CSW), Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) and packaging recycler ALPLA.
