#PODCAST eThekwini Municipality says water will be restored in February as Phoenix residents continue to protest #sabcnews

This is despite the meeting with eThekwini Municipality in Sastri Park, north of Durban at the weekend- aimed at resolving the water crisis. Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda told residents that water will be restored by the 15 of February due to technical refurbishments. Some areas in Phoenix, Ottawa and Verulam have gone without water for three months. But despite this assurance from the Municipality, VOP says they will not back down.
