#PODCAST Giving Hope Foundation join forces with the DDP to help residents share their service delivery concerns #sabcnews

By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - With many parts of eThekwini in a crisis and disarray regarding the municipal strike, the Giving Hope Foundation have joined forces with the Democracy Development Program to help residents share their concerns. This as a training workshop is planned for Saturday, with the aim of holding the municipality and councillors accountable through peaceful engagement. Co-founder of the Giving Hope Foundation, Roy Sukhdev joined me to discuss how this collaboration materialised. He says there was no choice but to create a platform for the people to finds ways forward, especially taking into account the state of service delivery currently...  *The event will be held this Saturday 16th of March at the Mount Edgecombe Shree Mariammen Temple Hall from 09:45 onwards. First come first serve in terms of seats, which are limited.
