By Newsbreak Senior Producer Taresh Harreeparshad - International law expert based at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Dr.Sheetal Soni says the International Court of Justice's provisional orders for Israel to comply will add global pressure to end the war against Palestine. The ICJ on Friday ordered Israel to take measures to prevent and punish direct incitement of genocide in the Gaza Strip. The World Court also ruled that it recognizes the Palestinians' right to be protected from acts of genocide. Israel was also ordered to take immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip.
