By Newsbreak Intern Ayanda Chule - The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport says it is ready for the rollout of the new number plate system, which will be effective as from the 1st of December. The Department spokesperson, Kwanele Ncalane says the process will have two phases: Phase one which will be the registration of new vehicles and Phase two, which will consist of all vehicle owners migrating to the new numbering system. Ncalane says vehicle owners will be given a time period of 24 months to voluntarily migrate to the new system from the 1st of March 2024....
