J'aime sortir du cinéma dans un état second, ébloui par la lumière du jour, presque étonné que le monde ait continué sa ronde sans moi (Mikaël Ollivier) Né à Neuilly-sur-Seine le 10 septembre 1974, Nicolas d'Estienne d'Orves est écrivain et journaliste français.Petit-neveu du résistant Honoré d'Estienne d'Orves et fils de Vincent d'Estienne d'Orves ancien élève d'hypokhâgne, après des stages dans les milieux du cinéma et de l'opéra, il a fait des études à la Sorbonne (DEA de lettres modernes spécialisées).Il a collaboré pendant cinq ans au Figaro Littéraire et à Madame Figaro. Il est actuellement critique musical au Figaro, journaliste culturel au Figaro magazine (livre, musique classique, cinéma), chroniqueur culturel au Spectacle du Monde, chroniqueur musical à Classica. Pendant quatre ans et demie, il a animé une chronique un samedi midi par mois dans l'émission de Benoît Duteurtre, "Etonnez-moi Benoît" sur France Musique.
