I’m your host, Al Morentin. A former award-winning small business owner turned business consultant and podcast producer.

In this introductory episode I’ll cover a bit about my background, why I’m starting the podcast, and what to expect moving forward.

As far as my background…

I’ve been a small business owner since 1987 owning fitness and wellness centers in Los Angeles and Orange County… eventually being awarded Small Business of the year in 2013 through the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce in Orange County, CA.

It’s a prestigious award and one of the proudest moments in my life.

Afterwards… several businesses began asking me to help them grow and scale their businesses which led me to start a business consulting agency in 2014 with much success.

The biggest focus and impact I have on businesses is helping the owner or CEO become a Center of Influence or what Daniel Priestley calls a Key Person of Influence in their industry.

Have you noticed how most businesses struggle to get leads and customers no matter what they do… while a select few seem to get clients effortlessly? With clients literally seeking them out.

This is what I call attraction marketing and becoming a Key Person of Influence is at the core of this….

Getting your ideal clients to seek you out and ask to do business with you instead of the other way around.

To be clear, this is not about posting IG and TikTok Reels to get millions of followers.

This is about becoming a KPI or Key Person of Influence in YOUR specific industry… and you can attain this with only a few thousand followers when done right.

In today’s world, Podcasting is one of the quickest and most effective ways to achieve KPI status.
