Ongoing since the year 2020, the University's STEM in ACTION education support programme reiterates the point that maths and physical science are gateway subjects that can have a significant impact on what a learner can apply to study at university - and their future job prospects. Isabel van Gend, STEM in ACTION Programme Manager says STEM subjects are often taken fro granted due to pressures from parents for thier children to enter the accounting, legal or medical fields...
