Deann Johnson is universally known as D.J. She was a star basketball player at Butte High and Montana Tech, and she was inducted into the Butte Sports Hall of Fame in 2015. A physical therapist with St. James Healthcare, D.J. has also been a member of the Montana Officials Association, refereeing basketball for in the Butte pool for the better part of two decades.
