PODCAST: Persephone Remembered - The Keeper of Sacred Return

The story of Persephone is often told as the myth of the changing seasons. In this reflection, we listen for another story: one that understands the underworld not as a place of punishment but as a sacred landscape where forgotten parts of ourselves patiently wait until they can be welcomed home. This episode explores why remembrance is not about becoming someone new but about reclaiming what has always belonged to us.Together we explore:* Why every path of remembrance eventually leads beneath the surface.* The deeper meaning of Persephone’s descent and return.* How survival can conceal, rather than destroy, essential parts of ourselves.* The difference between reinvention and remembrance.* Why sacred return means returning whole, not returning backwards.Reflection QuestionWhat if the part of yourself you have been searching for has never truly disappeared, but has simply been waiting until you were ready to remember? With love & stardust,AlyssaPrefer to read? This episode began as a Priestess Path reflection.
