The fraudsters have been using social media to entice people into buying products such as clothes, cars and electrical appliances. After sending the money, products were not forthcoming, and scammers' social accounts were deleted. Divesh Sooka, General Manager at SAND Technologies South Africa has been keeping a close eye on this rise in online fraud.
