The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has confirmed that the price of both grades of petrol increased by 75-cents per litre. The department attributed the increase to the current geopolitical tensions in the Middle East affecting the transportation of oil and the weaker rand exchange rate. Meanwhile, some South Africans have lashed out at Government over today's fuel price increase.
