The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has confirmed that the price of both grades of petrol increased by 75-cents per litre. The department attributed the increase to the current geopolitical tensions in the Middle East affecting the transportation of oil and the weaker rand exchange rate. Meanwhile, some South Africans have lashed out at Government over today's fuel price increase. These disgruntled consumers say they are barely making ends meet and such an increase in going to be detrimental, especially for pensioners, the elderly and the poor...
