It's believed that the 13-year-old learner who has been arrested for the shooting, had planned to shoot more teachers, but the headmaster was his ultimate target. The pupil allegedly used his father's gun in at a primary school in Germiston, east of Johannesburg. The grade 6 pupil is facing attempted murder charges, while his father has also been arrested on suspicion of negligence in relation to a firearm. But given some of the recent concerning situations we've seen in our schools, the question remains, what seems to be missing?
