Here is our PODCAST SHOW #53: NORTH CAROLINA SEAFOOD FESTIVAL - HERE WE COME! Hello, everyone. This is DrB and Mrs B EmptyNesters LifeStyle Podcast show and we are EXCITED about an upcoming event that we just planned to attend - October 2nd - 4th - the NORTH CAROLINA SEAFOOD FESTIVAL in MOREHEAD CITY, NC!! Since DrB and MrsB love Seafood particularly after visiting Cape Fear Seafood Company in Greenville, NC and since we only live less than 2 hours away from the NC coastline, we figured that it would be a great new adventure to attend the NC Seafood festival!! Wow!! We couldn't believe its right in our area. So this PODCAST SHOW features us talking about the NC Seafood festival and all the major events associated with it. The NC Seafood Festival is celebrating its 40TH festival coming this October and highlights an endless variety of seafood prepared in all types of ways, concerts, street dances, arts and crafts, an International Award-Winning Chef's Tent, Southern Outer Banks Boat Show, educational exhibits, hands-on programs for kids and grandkids, rides, and games. Most importantly, the NC Seafood festival features their cultural tradition - the famous "Flounder Fling" in which Miss North Carolina "flings" the first flounder on Saturday!! Finally, since we have visited Morehead City several times already and are familiar with the area (Bask Hotel, Jacks at the Waterfront, Atlantic Beach, Big Rock Landing & Tournament, Emerald Isle) of the Crystal Coast,  we want to experience the TRADITION, EVENTS, CULTURE, PEOPLE, and SEAFOOD of the NC Seafood Festival!!
