By Newsbreak Senior Producer Taresh Harreeparshad - The South African Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Coalition (BDS) staged peaceful protests outside several Cape Union Mart stores across the country at the weekend. The group claims that owner of the store Phillip Krawitz is publicly asking for support and funding to assist soldiers who are currently fighting in the Israel-Palestine war. For over a month hostilities between Israel and Palestine have reached boiling point. Gaza's Health Ministry says the Palestinian death toll sits at 12,300, including 5,000 children. Israel continues its bombardment against Palestine following the October 7th attack by Hamas that killed about 1200 Israelis. Currently the militant group is still holding 240 Israelis hostage.  BDS coordinator Roshan Dadoo says any brand that uses its business to raise funds for Israels attack on Palestine must not be supported...
