That's according to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA). As October marks breast cancer awareness month, health experts are urging women to undergo regular mammograms to increase the likelihood of early detection in combating the disease. A mammogram is an x-ray image of the breast, which can be used to check for breast cancer in women who have no signs or symptoms of the disease.
