#PODCAST Suspect appears in court for the murder of two KZN grandmothers

By Newsbreak Producer, Shona Terri Naidoo - A suspect arrested and charged for the murder of two elderly women in Umgababa on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast has made a brief appearance in the Umbumbulu Magistrates Court. The state has indicated it will be opposing bail for the accused -Thokozani Mhlongo. Sixty two-year-old Zanele Mbuso and 70-year-old Monica Xulu disappeared earlier this month from a crèche that Xulu owned.Their bodies were found in a shallow grave last week. Mhlongo was employed by Xulu as a security guard. SABC reporter Nonkululeko Hlophe spoke to Newsbreak's Shona Terri Naidoo....
