For the first time since April 2022, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has fallen back within the Reserve Bank's target band of between three to six percent. According to Renier Kriek, Managing Director at Sentinel Homes, a lower CPI indicates that inflation has potentially peaked. Kriek says this will likely mean stabilisation of the market interest rates and a repo rate reduction could even be on the way - all signs that now is the time to buy....
