Islam provides some in-depth and much-connected background to her newly founded path in life: academic coaching. We discuss her teaching background and what led her to coaching herself and others both within her community and globally.Islam Kafi is an experienced Academic Life Coach, Coach Trainer, Mentor Coach, Course Facilitator and Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Assessor. Islam was the first certified Academic Coach in the region and has since founded the region's only ICF Accredited Academic Coach Training Program, Coaching Kinetics. She completed a 3-year round of service on the ICF Board of Directors (Saudi Chapter) as the Director of Knowledge and Community. She runs her coaching practice while being a Coach Trainer and Mentor and the Program Director at her Course. She works with multiple stakeholders on the development of the coaching community in the MENA region while increasing Coaching Awareness in Academic Arenas. Her chapter in 'She is Remarkable' is on page 88 and titled 'I Get it Now'.
