This after a man allegedly shot dead his partner and his child before turning the gun on himself on Saturday afternoon in Phoenix, north of Durban. According to police, it's believed the suspect arrived at the scene on Pipeclay Drive with the three-year-old child where he allegedly called for the mother of the child. Reports further indicate that as the victim approached the vehicle, she was allegedly met with a hail of bullets. Police say when they arrived at the first scene, the woman was found lying in a pool of blood. It's believed the suspect then went to his place of residence on Clayfield Drive, where he allegedly shot and killed his child before taking his own life.
