#PODCAST Unemployed doctors march to KZN Health offices to demand jobs

By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Scores of unemployed medical doctors from KwaZulu-Natal are marching to the Health Department offices in Pietermaritzburg appealing for jobs. According to the South African Medical Association Trade Union (Samatu), there are over 800 qualified medical doctors who have gone through their internships and community service, who are jobless. Last week, Health Minister Doctor Joe Phaahla cited budgetary constraints as the reason for the placement challenges. The group are expected to hand over a memorandum of demands to departments officials. SABC reporter, Fanele Mhlongo is there and brings us an update....
