By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - In commemoration of Black History Month in the United States and to mark 30 years of South African democracy, the US Consulate in Durban has opened up its essay competition to local youth. February is dedicated to Black History Month, honoring the triumphs and struggles of African Americans throughout U.S. history. The written and oral essay competition entitled "I have a dream - where do we go from here" is open to youth aged between 16 to 20 years old. The essay must relate to their dreams and vision of a positive future for South Africa. Public Affairs officer at the US Consulate in Durban, Jaclyn Cole explains...
