VulPro is the only vulture conservation facility of its kind on the African continent and is spear-heading population restocking efforts. Following approval by the Department of Forestry Fisheries and Environment, 155 vultures will be relocated from Hartbeespoort north of Johannesburg to Shamwari Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape in January 2024.
